Overview
In this special safari package guests will arrive in the AM at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and will be met by our driver for a transfer to the Sarova Stanleys Hotel in the heart of Nairobi City for an overnight. On the second day they will travel by Road to Loldia House in Naivasha where they will spend two nights before flying to the Masai Mara where they will spend three nights at Main Governors Camp and depart the Mara by air on the last day via Wilson Airport for an overnight at the Sarova Stanley, Nairobi (depending on flight timings) or be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for their flight back home.

Day 1: ARRIVAL AND OVERNIGHT AT NAIROBI SAROVA STANLEY
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Nairobi Sarova Stanley for an overnight and relaxation in readiness for your exciting Safari the next day.

Day 2: NAIROBI TO NAIVASHA
A morning pick up either from your Sarova Stanley’s, and transfer by road through the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley to the Loldia House one among the many and luxurious properties run by the Governors Camp Collection, nestling on the shores of Lake Naivasha. A two hour drive from Nairobi. Enjoy a delicious al fresco lunch, on the lawn overlooking the lake and Mt Longonot. Spend the Afternoon at leisure on the farm, with the option of an evening walk with a resident naturalist, evening sundowners overlooking Lake Naivasha or a night game drive. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/lodge
The Loldia House nestles under the Acacia trees on one of the country’s oldest farms. It was built in the Second World War and had breath-taking views of the dormant volcano, Mt Longonot. Mouthwatering meals are serv8026ed under the trees in the garden or in the original dining room.
Day 3: NAKURU
An early breakfast, before departing to Lake Nakuru National Park. Morning game drive around Lake Nakuru, famous for its abundance of flamingos and large variety of water birds. Lake Nakuru is also one of Kenya’s Rhino Sanctuaries and large numbers of Rhinos are regularly seen, along with good sightings of Leopard. A picnic lunch is served overlooking the lake. Returning to the hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 4: MASAI MARA
A late breakfast served on the lawns of the hotel, with the option of an early morning boat ride on Lake Naivasha, or an informative guided nature walk on the farm, or a visit to a local School, an impressive responsible tourism initiative. A leisurely lunch, prior to a 3:15 pm flight from Airstrip, direct to the the Masai Mara Game Reserve. There is also the possibility of a morning flight from Naivasha to the Masai Mara.
Arrival at Masai Mara airstrip at approximately 15:50. Short game drive en route to the camp.
Pre-dinner drinks around the campfire, a candlelit dinner in the dining tent or around a blazing campfire and overnight at the camp of your choice.
Day 5: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Early morning game drive at dawn, returning to the Camp for a full hunter’s breakfast, served in the shade of the camps indigenous riverine forest. There are no set times at The Camp. After breakfast there is the opportunity to take a game drive along the banks of the Mara River, to witness the importance of this great river to the Mara’s ecosystem or to visit some responsible tourism initiatives – including a local school. Return to The Camp for a delicious lunch overlooking the rolling Mara Plains. At 3:30pm, depart on an afternoon game drive. The Mara is widely considered to offer the best game viewing in Africa, and the evening game drive is duly rewarding for its famous Big Cats, wildlife and birds. Returning to camp before sundown. Memorable evenings around the campfire and fine dining.
Day 6: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Day spent exploring the Masai Mara Game Reserve and all that it has to offer. Dinner and overnight at the Camp
Balloon Safari – For the adventure of a lifetime we offer the unique experience of a Balloon Safari over the plains, forest and river of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous for its abundance of wildlife throughout the year. Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Hippos, Crocodiles and prolific numbers of plains game are regularly seen, as are the countless species of Birds both in flight and atop their lofty perches in the trees. The annual migration of the Wildebeest from July to October is a sight that, viewed from the vantage point of a Balloon is never to be forgotten. Departure is from the Camp, which has a perfect natural launch site and offers easy access for the take off shortly before sunrise. The flight lasts about an hour, with ample opportunities for photography and video filming from this unusual and often exciting perspective. After landing there is a traditional champagne toast, followed by a breakfast cooked on the Balloon burners in the middle of the rolling plains of the Masai Mara. It is another tradition with us that each passenger is presented with a certificate signed by the pilot to commemorate the flight. The Balloon Safari ends with a leisurely game drive which often allows you to return to the animals seen from the air before our vehicles return you to your camp.
Day 7: RETURN TO NAIROBI
Morning spent enjoying the Masai Mara, before departing on the 10:00 flight to Nairobi. Clients are met on arrival at Wilson Airport and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your international flight departure.
Inclusions & Exclusions
The above rates are inclusive of one night in Nairobi Hotel, a transfer from JKIA or Nairobi Hotel to Naivasha/Nakuru, 2 nights full board accommodation at Naivasha/Nakuru Hotel, a flight direct from Nakuru to the Masai Mara, 3 nights full board accommodation at a Masai Mara Camp, inclusive of game drives, a flight from the Mara to Nairobi, and transfers by road from Wilson Airport and onward to JKIA.
Cancellation Policy: Booking cancelled or reduced in numbers between the following days from the noon of accommodation/flight will attract cancellation charges as follows:
60-36 days – 20%
35-20 days – 50%
19- Arrival – 100%
