7-Day Kenya Discovery Safari
Kenya Discovery Tour takes you to the North of Kenya and Samburu National Reserve. The tour offers unique vistas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains. Lake Naivasha has a mix of wood and grassland with forest and swamp home to a wide variety of animal and bird-life, Buffalo Springs records over 365 species of bird. Visitors have the choice of driving, walking, camping, cycling and rock climbing within the park.

Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu
Nairobi, city, capital of Kenya, in Nairobi District, situated at an elevation of about 1660 m (about 5450 ft) in the highlands of the southern part of the country. Nairobi is Kenya’s principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. The city also has a large tourist industry. You will be met on arrival depending with the time of your flight arrival transfer to Samburu National Reserve. Offers unique vistas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains. The mix of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp home to a wide variety of animal and birdlife, Buffalo Springs records over 365 species of bird. Game viewing and visibility is excellent: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, elephant, oryx, Somali Ostrich, hippo, crocodile, gerenuk, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Arrive in time for your hot lunch at your lodge. Enjoy your evening game drive.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy your morning and afternoon game drives at Samburu National Reserve. Morning hours and evening hours are the most crucial during game drives as that is the best time animals go hunting. Remember your game drives are unlimited and they can take as long as you wish.

Day 3: Samburu-Ol Pajeta
Olpajeta is a mosaic of grass plains, wooded grassland, Acacia woodland and evergreen thicket extending for over 350 square kilometers. Ol Pejeta boasts an astounding variety of animals including non-indigenous chimpanzees and the Big Five. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plans will guarantee you an unforgettable safari experience Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Ol Pajeta. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Solio Lodge.

Day 4: Ol Pajeta-Lake Nakuru
Depart very early for Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy your hot lunch at Nyahururu then proceed on with your journey. The park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart with picnic lunch boxes after your morning breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Reserve is administered by the local county council. It is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (seen in the film ‘Out of Africa’, much of which was filmed here) an extraordinary density of animals including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game. Enjoy your en route game viewing at Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 6: Masai Mara
Hot Air Balloon ride can be arranged before your Naivasha trip at USD. 450 Per person. Alternatively, proceed on with your full day game drive at the Mara. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

Day 7: Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha-Nairobi
Boat rides can be arranged by your guide at a minimal extra fees. Depending with your flight, timings, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.

35-20 days – 50%
19- Arrival – 100%
