12-DAY FAMILY BUSH AND BEACH
Overview
As well as amazing wildlife, diverse terrain and diverting day-excursions, this family package has the added benefit of a long beach extension. After so much action, tracking wildlife, taking photos and exploring Kenya’s rugged wilderness, the whole family will relish the chance to relax, take a swim, or try out some new and exciting water sports!
Arrival You will be Picked from the airport (or hotel).
Day 1: Nairobi
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the Hotel of choice as above. Your journey will start in Nairobi where, after taking a city tour if desired, you and your family will rest up in the charming Sankara Hotel Nairobi. The rest of the day can be spent relaxing or exploring Nairobi.

Day 2: Nanyuki
After a hearty breakfast, you will head to the Ol Pejeta Private Conservancy in the Mount Kenya region, where you will spend your day visiting chimps in the fantastic Chimpanzee Sanctuary, getting up close and personal with black rhino at the invaluable Rhino Sanctuary, and generally enjoying the stunning scenery and fresh mountain air. You will spend the day spotting wildlife and visiting the famous Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Day 3: Nanyuki
You will spend the day how you wish – going on a game drive, visiting the world-renowned rhino sanctuary, or spending a little time relaxing at the tented camp. You will spend your days visiting chimps in the fantastic Chimpanzee Sanctuary, getting up close and personal with black rhino at the invaluable Rhino Sanctuary, and generally enjoying the stunning scenery and fresh mountain air.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, leave Lodge and descend into the Great Rift Valley where Naivasha is located. Lunch and/or afternoon tea at the beautiful Elsamere, former home to Joy Adamson, and a boat ride to view the hippos and beautiful birdlife of Lake Naivasha.

Day 5: Masai Mara
After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National park with game drive en route. This corner of Kenya offers the quintessential idea of the African wilderness – glorious sunrises, reddish sunsets, golden plains, dense bush and, of course, a richness of wildlife rarely rivaled anywhere in Kenya After a short rest you will proceed for an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara National Park.

Day 6: Masai Mara
Full day game drive in the Masai Mara, where you’ll have a good chance of spotting the “Big Five”, along with many other animals in the Mara’s dramatic Landscape. Here, you can spend a full day spotting the “Big Five” and many, many other wild creatures.

Day 7: Diani Beach
Take a morning game drive before or after breakfast. Take your flight to Diani, arriving at the Resort in the early evening. A whole host of watersports is on offer – kite surfing, wind surfing, diving, fishing for something a little less extreme, a snorkeling trip is something the whole family can enjoy.

Day 8-11: Diani Beach
Day spent at leisure – swim, explore, sail, dive, wind-surf, fish, golf, take a marine safari, a whole host of watersports is on offer – kite surfing, wind surfing, diving, fishing for something a little less extreme or simply relax on the beach or by the pool.

Day 12: Departure
Transfer to airport to connect a flight home for your onward journey.

Cancellation Policy: Booking cancelled or reduced in numbers between the following days from the noon of accommodation/flight will attract cancellation charges as follows:
60-36 days – 20%
35-20 days – 50%
19- Arrival – 100%
