Overview



This 14 day Safari and Beach combination takes you on a classic safari followed by a beach extension where you will unwind and relax, it provides a selection of the best of Kenya starting from Nairobi, Olpejeta, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo then head down south coast to enjoy the white sandy beach.



Arrival

  • You’ll be picked from the airport (or hotel).

Day 1: Jomo Kenyatta Airport transfer to Nairobi Hotel

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our company representative who will transfer you to Hotel of Choice as above located in the heart of the city and give you a pre-safari briefing. Thereafter check-in at the hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi to Nanyuki

After breakfast we travel to Nanyuki with a brief stop at the equator line for photos then proceed to Olpejeta Ranch where you will check-in for lunch at the camp. In the afternoon visit magnificent beasts given a sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns. Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face with an afternoon game drive thereafter. Returning to the Lodge for dinner and overnight late in the evening.

Day 3: Nanyuki – Lake Nakuru National Park

After your breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the lodge. You will spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive around the lake until dusk when you return to your camp.

The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lion, leopard, water buck, buffalo, Columbus monkey and baboons are all residents here.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After breakfast check out and leave for Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley, arriving in time for lunch at Camp. After lunch, spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive until dusk when you return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

The Mara offers abundant wildlife varieties, over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You can easily see lions, rhino, hippos, crocodile, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, warthog, hyena, jackal, wild dog, leopard, elephant and many kinds of antelope. The most spectacular annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture happens here from July to early September.

Day 5: Masai Mara full day

After breakfast check-out with lunch boxes and depart for a full day game drive in pursuit of the Big 5 and other wildlife that inhabits this park. Picnic boxes will be served at the designated picnic area near Mara river, thereafter proceed with an afternoon game drive. Returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After early morning game drive, depart Mara for the drive to lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for lunch. A nice walk in the lodge premises in the afternoon will give you an opportunity to see many bird species found in this area, the Roth’s child Giraffe and monkeys are a familiar sighting.

Optional activities include boat ride to crescent island, hiking or cycling at Hell’s gate at an extra cost.

Day 7: Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After your breakfast, you will depart for the Amboseli National Park arriving in time for check in and lunch at the Lodge. You will then spend the afternoon at leisure before going for an evening game drive, visit a local Maasai village. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Amboseli Full day

The whole day will be spent in the Amboseli National Park with the morning and evening game drives.

Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds, you will also see buffalo’s, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plains animals and birds.

Day 9: Amboseli to Tsavo West

Check-out after breakfast then depart for the Tsavo West National Park to arrive in time for check in and lunch at the Lodge. Mid-afternoon will be at leisure enjoying the lodge’s facilities before going for the evening game drive until dusk when you return to your lodge.

At Tsavo West you can see elephants, Lions, Hippos, giraffes, crocodile, vervet monkeys, antelopes, baboons, giraffes. The park is a marvel in terms of Geo-physical character and plant diversity. In the afternoon you will get a chance to visit the Mzima Springs, the source of Mombasa’s water located in this park. These springs are recharged daily with hundreds of millions of litres of crystal clear water by underground streams emanating from the Chyulu Hills. At Mzima, all sorts of animals gather for a drink particularly in the dry season. You may also be able to view hippo and crocodile from the underwater glass tank.

Day 10: Tsavo to South Coast (Diani)

You will have a very early morning game drive that will provide you with an opportunity of seeing animals not usually encountered during the afternoon game drive such as spotted and striped hyena, mongoose, jackal, civet, genet, porcupine and bush baby. After breakfast depart for the coastal part of Kenya where you will check-in at the resort for late lunch. Afternoon will be at own leisure exploring the beautiful beach. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 11-13: Diani Whole day

You will spend these days leisurely at your beach resort enjoying the peace and serenity that lets your mind escape whilst in a true paradise, with optional water sports activities and Mombasa excursions at an extra cost.

Day 14: Diani fly back to Wilson airport – transferred to JKIA

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the Airport to take a domestic flight from Diani to Wilson Airport, our driver will then transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta Airport where you will catch your International flight back home.

Cancellation Policy: Booking cancelled or reduced in numbers between the following days from the noon of accommodation/flight will attract cancellation charges as follows:



60-36 days – 20%



35-20 days – 50%



19- Arrival – 100%
